HABITAT Legno was founded in 1975 and it is the spearhead of the Albertani Industries. It manufactures laminated wood structures and boasts much collaboration with some of the best Italian architects and engineers.
HABITAT Legno stands side by side with the designer in every phase of the project and work: from the choice of the aesthetical design to its construction, from planning to installation.
The years of experience and number of projects followed, have given Habitat Legno the ability of resolving problems and calculate variables. Wood ALBERTANI
Wood ALBERTANI S.p.A. founded in Alta Valle Camonica was influenced by the historical tradition of wooden constructions, which the Albertani Family has handed down from generation to generation. Works accomplished by Wood ALBERTANI are famous throughout the world over: like “the travelling pavilion” constructed in 1984 for IBM based on a project by Renzo Piano, the research laboratory of OLIVETTI constructed in 1988, wooden structures for the general redevelopment of Viale Italia in Livorno constructed in 2002 by a pool of nationally famous architects headed by the French master Cristiano Toraldo.

ALBE CASE
ALBE CASE founded in the 70s after an initiative of Gian Pietro Albertani. The construction market lively and brisk coupled with noticeable technological progresses were certainly the deciding factors for accomplishing important results. Strong of the material cost effectiveness and quickness of construction, has translated in Clients satisfaction. ALBE CASE was always confident and determined to sustain innovation in the building sector. After the construction of the first civil residences, recognitions and successes arrived soon: to crown the fruit of so much hard work was the awarding of the International Prize “Mappamondo d’Oro” (golden globe) for the Best Prefabricated House of 1975.

LINEA Legno
Linea LEGNO, founded in 1994, manufactures and distributes semi-finished solid wood and laminated wood impregnated in autoclave and components for urban furnishing and do-it-yourself. This division oversees also marketing of some HABITAT Legno products:
- STEK is a high thermal coefficient structural element. The acronym Stek stands for STructural Element with high thermal coefficient K, therefore: a wood-polystyrene foam mixture, which combines high mechanical resistance with thermal resistance features. By applying this technology civil construction holds heat more.
- HSB (HABITAT System Beton) is a new type of dry connector for wood-concrete mixture structures. It is a bearing floor in wood/concrete, studied especially to meet all bearing needs. HSB is a connector studied and fine tuned especially for consolidating interventions of historical or recent constructed wooden lofts, but that finds interesting applications even in new constructions.
